Young Dabang Brings Korea’s Premium Tteokbokki Experience to Hong Kong

Created for the young and young at heart, the beloved tteokbokki pot chain arrives at New Town Plaza with its signature 35cm rice cakes, irresistible toppings and nostalgic retro vibes

Hong Kong welcomes Young Dabang, Korea’s cult-favourite tteokbokki pot chain, with its first outlet now open at Sha Tin’s New Town Plaza. Founded in 2015, the brand has expanded to over 400 locations worldwide, redefining tteokbokki as a premium comfort food while embracing a fun, retro-inspired café vibe.

Signature Tteokbokki Experience

Young Dabang’s star dish is its customisable Tteokbokki Pot (from HK$248 for two), featuring its famous 35cm chewy rice cakes. Loaded with fish cakes, quail eggs, fried dumplings, vegetables, and ramen, each pot is designed for sharing. Guests can choose from six sauces, including the spicy YDB Signature, creamy Rosé, and Hong Kong exclusives like Corn Cream and Carbonara. Popular combos include:

  • Cheese Fried Chicken Pot (HK$258) – crispy chicken smothered in melted cheese

  • Fried King Squid Pot (HK$268) – savoury squid meets chewy rice cakes

  • Mala Mania Pot (HK$248) – spicy mala and sweet rosé with Korean hotdogs

End the meal with the must-try Flying Fish Roe Seaweed Bokkeumbap, fried tableside with leftover sauce.
