Longchamp celebrates the Chinese Year of the Horse in 2026 with a vibrant campaign that pays tribute to its founding emblem. To mark this special occasion, the Maison introduces a capsule collection composed exclusively of red pieces, symbolising celebration and renewal.
The Horse: The Spirit of Longchamp
At the heart of the campaign is the Longchamp horse — a powerful symbol of energy and freedom that has defined the brand’s identity and signed its creations since the very beginning. For the Year of the Horse, this emblem is reimagined in gold, galloping across a traditional red backdrop in shades of carmine and burgundy. Referencing the auspicious colours of the Lunar New Year, these rich hues evoke vitality, protection, and renewal, expressed with Longchamp’s signature elegance.

Pop and Poetic: Riding the Spring Breeze
Top model Cici Xiang stars in a joyful, dynamic campaign entitled Riding the Spring Breeze, photographed by Leslie Zhang and set to music by François Villevieille (Musique 1983 Production). The films and visuals unfold within a colourful, pop-inflected universe, inhabited by reimagined horses drawn from the collective imagination.
The light-hearted, poetic treatment invites a nostalgic return to childhood, while the dazzling blue sky and vibrant green grass offer a playful nod to the arrival of spring. The Lunar New Year signals the changing of seasons, bringing renewal and optimism — values that lie at the heart of Longchamp.
Le Roseau Reinterpreted
The iconic Le Roseau bag is reintroduced in two new formats crafted from smooth calfskin. Its signature gold-toned bamboo clasp is enhanced with a new bow detail on the front, completing its refreshed silhouette.
The capsule collection also includes two small leather goods — an envelope-style pouch and a card holder — inspired by the red envelopes traditionally gifted during the Lunar New Year. A silk ribbon featuring an equestrian motif and a plush horse-shaped key ring complete the assortment, offering a charming lucky symbol to carry everywhere.

Availability
Launching on 30 December, the capsule collection and its exclusive packaging will be available as a limited edition until 26 February at selected Longchamp boutiques across Mainland China, Malaysia, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan Region, and Singapore.
Celebrating the Year of the Horse In-Store
To commemorate this key moment in the lunar calendar, Longchamp will host a range of in-store experiences at its Asian flagship locations, including photobooths, interactive games, scratch cards, and carousel-style installations featuring animated horses. These playful activations echo the campaign’s childhood spirit and promise memorable moments to share.
