Bistro Hoi An Welcomes Summer with Vietnamese Classics and Vivid Flavours – Starring Hong Kong’s Largest Bamboo Charcoal Bánh Mì
A vibrant celebration of flavour and culture arrives this season as Bistro Hoi An brings the spirit of Vietnam to Hong Kong with a series of playful and flavour-driven experiences.

NEW ITEM) Crispy Pancake with Shrimp & Pork 越式鮮蝦豬肉煎餅
At the centre of the summer offering is a striking highlight — a 20-inch bamboo charcoal bánh mì, created to mark Vietnam’s beloved Bánh Mì Festival. Available in limited quantities at the ELEMENTS location from 23 April, the oversized sandwich is as much a visual statement as it is a culinary one. Crisp, charcoal-darkened bread encases layers of pâté, pork belly, pickled vegetables and fresh herbs, delivering a bold balance of textures and flavours in every bite.

Beyond this showpiece, the restaurant continues to showcase the depth of Vietnamese cuisine through a menu designed for sharing and discovery. A curated Vietnamese Flavour Platter offers a lively mix of appetisers — from fresh rice paper rolls to crispy spring rolls and fragrant skewers — bringing together a variety of textures and tastes in one generous spread.

Seasonal dishes further highlight the kitchen’s approach to modern Vietnamese dining. From golden crispy pancakes filled with shrimp and pork to lime-cured hamachi and wok-fried glass noodles, each dish balances freshness with bold, aromatic depth.

Hoi An Roastery
For those marking special occasions, Bistro Hoi An introduces a Hoi An Heritage Family Menu, crafted for gatherings on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Designed for sharing, the menu brings together comforting mains, vibrant starters and indulgent desserts — offering a relaxed yet celebratory dining experience.
Set across two distinct locations — a lantern-lit, two-storey space at ELEMENTS and a charming colonial-style setting in Tuen Mun — the restaurant creates an atmosphere that feels both transportive and welcoming. Warm lighting, handcrafted details and a lively ambience echo the character of Hoi An itself.
This summer, Bistro Hoi An offers more than just a meal — it captures a sense of place, where food, culture and atmosphere come together in a way that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
