The flower is a symbol of consciousness, from the lotus as an emblem of spiritual enlightenment to the purifying qualities of the calla lily. For Creative Director Gabriela Hearst, consciousness is the fourth and final ingredient to achieving climate success. Her past three collections for the Maison have been arranged into chapters, each focusing on a climate solution: regeneration (Autumn-Winter 2022), clean energy (Spring-Summer 2023) and female leadership (Autumn-Winter 2023). Now, for the Chloé Spring-Summer 2024 (SS24) collection, Gabriela explores the power of individual action as a form of environmental advocacy. If every person serves the planet and Mother Nature independently, collectively we will be a stronger force for positive change. This season concludes Gabriela’s fashion anthology at the Maison and is a celebration of her transformational time at Chloé.
