Originally debuted in Paris in October 2024 and subsequently presented in New York in 2025, Tales &
Tellers will now be unveiled in a new iteration in Shanghai on June 6th and 7th, at the Shanghai
Exhibition Center.
Under the direction of Miuccia Prada, Tales & Tellers is an ever-evolving site-specific installation and
performance, conceived by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and convened by Elvira Dyangani
Ose, curator and artistic director of the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial, in collaboration with theater and
opera director Fabio Cherstich.
Poised at the intersection between fashion, cinema and art the project is inspired by and features the
film commissions that comprise Miu Miu Women’s Tales, and the artistic interventions from Miu Miu
runway shows between Spring/Summer 2022 and Spring/Summer 2025.
Staged at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in Shanghai, No. 1000 Yan’an Middle Road, Shanghai, the
project will be open to the public on the 6th and 7th of June 2026, with a private preview on the 5th of
June.
