Pak Loh Chiu Chow’s Dragon Boat & Father’s Day Offerings!

Pak Loh Chiu Chow and Moon Lok Chiu Chow mark the arrival of the Dragon Boat Festival and Father’s Day with a series of seasonal offerings that draw from tradition while maintaining a sense of familiarity.

At the centre of the release are the brand’s signature rice dumplings, returning as a quiet nod to heritage. The Deluxe Whole Abalone Rice Dumpling brings together abalone, fish maw, dried scallops and other classic ingredients, creating a layered, savoury profile that reflects the depth associated with festive dishes. In contrast, the Sweet Taro & Gingko Rice Dumpling offers a softer, more nostalgic interpretation, centred on smooth taro paste and gingko for a balanced sweetness.

Alongside these seasonal staples, the focus shifts towards Father’s Day dining, where both brands present a series of set menus designed for group gatherings. The menus stay close to Chiu Chow culinary traditions, built around familiar flavours and textures rather than reinterpretation.

At Pak Loh Chiu Chow, the offerings highlight signature dishes that emphasise technique and balance, while the more elevated menu options introduce additional layers of refinement through seafood and classic banquet-style compositions.

Moon Lok Chiu Chow, positioned with a slightly more contemporary setting, follows a similar direction, offering menus that retain the essence of traditional flavours while presenting them in a more relaxed format.
