Ralph Lauren Spring 2024 Collection
Spring 2024 Collection celebrates the freedom of personal style, reflecting the individuality of a woman who is timeless and modern, bold and romantic, sophisticated and vibrant – always grounded in a spirit of her own authenticity.
A romantic spring palette of blue and white is reimagined in eclectic combinations—a cricket stripe crested blazer over a mini dress in tiered cotton stripe shirting, a printed lace bustier paired with tailored pinstripe trousers. Denim is a hallmark for the brand, and this season it is reimagined into romantic eveningwear – a denim suit featuring embroidered beadwork, reverse appliqué, and sheer floral cutouts edged in crystal beads, an ombre floral denim maxiskirt, and a denim jacket embellished with handembroidered white feathers, rhinestones, and artisanal patches.
A palette of striking blacks and golds follows, punctuated by touches of metallic weavings. Iconic pieces reinterpreted and reimagined with a modern sensibility– a classic black tuxedo jacket paired with skinny gold metallic pants, and a double-breasted blazer over a plunging gold foil body suit paired with black pants featuring cascading black feathers and elaborate beadwork, using a hand embroidery technique.
The finale presents unique pairings of textures and colors lending a spirit of sophistication and romanticism to timeless silhouettes. A gold yarn top is styled beneath a jacket and trouser in delicate silk, an emerald crochet bralette beneath an embellished satin tour jacket paired with contrasting foulard print silk pants, and a hand painted leather vest atop a madras wrap dress. The show closes with two gold looks, including a leather macramé gown that is detailed with abstract woven patterns and tiers of gold fringe. To embroider the piece, 15 specialized embroiderers spent more than 800 hours cutting, weaving, and knotting the leather fringe.
The Collection is enhanced with accessories that complement the essence of the season. Ralph Lauren’s newest bag, the RL 888, opens the show with the face of the RL 888 campaign, Anna Ewers, for its runway debut. New renditions showcase the breadth of the collection, with seasonal iterations in shades of navy, emerald, metallics, and denim fabrications. Ralph Lauren’s Welington bags are also seen throughout, in addition to the iconic Ricky bag. An array of belts create contrast and interest throughout the collection – as preppy madras, embellished tulle skirts, and delicate silks are paired with rustic rodeo belts. Jewelry makes a bold statement throughout, with chandelier earrings and cascades of layered beaded necklaces creating a feel that is both effortless and opulent.
